I imagine Yunnan smells like pu-erh.

I’ve heard that you’re supposed to steep it for a minute and throw that away before steeping again for a few more minutes. I always forget the throw-away step, but I can get several cups out of a single scoop.

Thanks for bringing it to the Market. I’m enjoying the batch I got from you last weekend.

Hi Dana,

I do not have any teas that are pre-sweetened. All tea is sold with the idea that you add your own sweetener to taste.

I love this web site. I wonder how I can access the recipes quickly. The crumpets, for example, are awesomely explained in video. Is there a place I can reference just the recipe?

I LOVE to hear stories like this! It is such a wonderful tradition AND with all that we do these days, it is go great to take time out for just yourself….. even if it is just 5 minutes. Inviting friends makes the tea time ritual even better. I’d be interested in learning more about the recipes you used!

Lovely stuff! I travelled to England this summer and had some afternoon tea with a scone, and it was absolutely delicious I decided to try and make my own last week. I might have deviated from the norm though - I found a bunch of random scone recipes here and made 5 different ones! My friends were so happy when I invited them round for tea and scones, complete with real whipped cream. Great fun!
