Herbal Tea

This Tupelo Honey Teas blend was inspired by the delicious flavor of cherry koolaid.  Blended with all herbs, and including real cherries, you will swear this is the old kids favorite, not a healthy tea.

The base of this tea is Blackberry leaf which has vitamin C in it.  Added to that base is a mixture of sweet, tart and bitter herbs which blend together perfectly to make the red color.

When steeping please only steep for a maximim of 2-3 minutes.  The tea contains chicory which can bitter the tea if left in water too long.  Add a bit of honey to take the edge off.

Chamomile tea is an old herbal favorite!  This tea helps with stomach ails, sleeplessness, and with colic babies.  The flower has an appleish scent and brews up a bright yellow color.  Enjoy when the stresses of life get too heavy.

A blend of Chamomile and Spearmint, this tea gives the healing benefits of Chamomile an extra punch.  Spearmint and all mints in general are good for sore stomachs.  When paired with Chamomile, this tea will be sure to settle that bear growling inside of you.

We have had several clients ask for just plain Ginger tea.  They all have had it in Thai Restaurants and loved it.

Ginger is a spicy root that can be used for culinary uses or consumed as a drink in either the raw or dried form.  Ginger has been shown to help with nausea in pregnant women or those who are in the midst of chemo treatments.

Tart and Sassy this was blended specifically for the Heart Association’s Go Red event.  A base of Hibiscus, which has long thought to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, combined with Lemongrass, cinnamon and rosehips which also have heart and blood vessel strengthening properties.  This tea packs a powerful health punch in just one glass.

Hibiscus tea is a tart but delicious tea that is known for its ability to lower blood pressure and cholesterol.

Basically the dried petals of a hibiscus flower, this tea packs a powerful punch of health benefits.  We suggest adding some honey to take away the tartness.

A perfect blending of Lemongrass and Spearmint, this tea has an overwhelming calming effect on everyone who consumes it.  Lemongrass has been used over the years to help everything from headaches and abdominal pains to helping digest fats.  Spearmint and mint in general helps with stomach pains.  Together in this tea the two do wonders for your digestion.

In the wintertime, add an organic lemon wedge and some honey for a good sore throat soother.

After being asked by many clients for a plain peppermint tea, we decided it was time to add it to the menu.

Peppermint is good for stomach aches and general indigestion.  It is also said to be good luck to take with you when travelling.

Blended specifically to help her babies sleep, The Tea Lady also uses this tea for herself.  The blend of Chamomile, Spearmint, Kava Kava, Valerian Root and Fennel Seeds are sure to lull even the crankiest babies (and mommys) to sleep.

All of the herbs used in this blend are known sleep aids so only consume when you want to go to sleep.
