Seasonal Teas

Take apples and cinnamon then mix it with spices and Black Tea…. you get Apple Spice Tea.  This tea is very delicious when steeped with water, however, it can be made into a mulled cider too!  Take apple juice and bring it to a boil.  Then steep your tea in the juice as you would water.  Then kick back in front of the fire with a good book!

This Tupelo Honey Teas blend was inspired by the delicious flavor of cherry koolaid.  Blended with all herbs, and including real cherries, you will swear this is the old kids favorite, not a healthy tea.

The base of this tea is Blackberry leaf which has vitamin C in it.  Added to that base is a mixture of sweet, tart and bitter herbs which blend together perfectly to make the red color.

When steeping please only steep for a maximim of 2-3 minutes.  The tea contains chicory which can bitter the tea if left in water too long.  Add a bit of honey to take the edge off.

If you’ve ever been to Seattle, you’ve most likely had this tea.  Market Spice tea is staple of the Pike’s Place Market.  Cinnamon, Cloves, and Orange Spices take over your nose as you open the bag to this tea.  When you brew it, the scent takes over the entire room.  Be prepared to answer the question, “WHAT IS THAT?!?”

This tea is a must for the holiday season.  Brew some up and it will immediately make you want to hang your holiday decorations, do your holiday baking or just sit down and enjoy a fire.

An herbal blend of cinnamon and spices, this tea holds it’s own during cool fall nights and on cold winter mornings.  This tea brews up red in your cup thanks to the tart Hibiscus yet the flavor is sweet due to the Licorice Root.  Cinnamon plays a role in this blend, but is not overpowering and the plum flavoring is just enough to make the whole thing roll together.  This is one of The Tea Lady’s must tries for this season!

Imagine a $4.00 latte at home for 45 cents.  It isn’t too good to be true, it’s Pumpkin Pie Tea!  While this tea takes a little bit of energy to make, the end product is SO WORTH IT!

Start by brewing your tea in boiling water.  Next stir in agave nectar to taste.  Add a scoop of pumpkin puree, yes Libby’s.  Top with whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top.  Drink hot so the pumpkin puree remains melted.

The smell of Spiced Coconut Chai is heavenly, however, the taste is so much better that you could possibly imagine.  While the underlying taste is of coconut, it isn’t overpowering and allows the flavor of the other spices to come through.  Star Anise, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, and Ginger are just a few of the spices you will taste as you sip this tea.  The base is of Red Rooibos and Darjeeling making it light with a slight sweetness.  Don’t forget to look into your leaves because yes, there are flecks of real, unsweetened, organic coconut.
