Organically Grown Yerba Mate

Yerba Mate may be The Tea Lady's single most favorite tea.  The love for this tea comes from the fact that it helped her through many long days after sleepless nights with her babies.

Yerba Mate, or Mate to those in the know, is a South American drink.... no make that a staple.  Usually consumed out of hollowed out gourds and sipped through metal straws called bombilla's, this tea is a must for every one to try.

Green in flavor and a greenish brown in color, this tea contains a form of caffeine called mateine.  Mateine, in our experience, has a completely different reaction with most people's bodies than caffeine.  That being said and knowing there is so much info on Mate, check out our blog for all of the info on this tea!
